권구현

1970년에충북보은에서태어났다.서울대학교국어국문학과를졸업하고동대학원에서<염상섭소설의추리소설적성격연구>로문학박사학위를받았다.세종대학교교양학부초빙교수와고려대BK21한국어문학교육연구단연구교수를지냈다.서울시립대글쓰기센터연구교수로있다.<김승옥소설에나타난화자의성격연구>,<염상섭소설의추리소설적성격연구>,<≪사랑과죄≫에나타난연애의성립과정>등염상섭의소설에대한다수의논문을발표했고,≪염상섭소설다시읽기≫를냈다.

지식을만드는지식‘한국근현대시초판본100종’은점점사라져가는원본을재출간하겠다는기획의도에따라한국문학평론가협회에서작가100명을엄선하고각각의작가에대해권위를인정받은평론가들을엮은이로추천했다.엮은이는직접작품을선정하고원전을찾아냈으며해설과주석을덧붙였다.
각작품들은초판본을수정없이그대로타이핑해서실었다.초판본을구하지못한작품은원전에가장근접한것을사용했다.저본에실린표기를그대로살렸고,오기가분명한경우만바로잡았다.단,띄어쓰기는읽기편하게현대의표기법에맞춰고쳤다.

권구현시의문학사적의의는당시주류를형성했던계급문학의내용중심주의를비판하고,문학자체의의의를옹호하며아나키즘사상을기반으로한데있다.권구현의자유시는이원적대립구조를통해지배계급에대한저항의식을드러내면서도문학을정치선전의도구나계몽의수단으로삼았던계급문학가들과는다른문학적성과를보여주었다.문학자체의자율성을중시했던그는극난하고고통스러운현실을읊을뿐적극적인대항을노래하지않는다.
시조창작은특히주목할만하다.당시좌파문인들은시조를양반문학으로규정하고돌아볼가치가없으며배격되어야하는구시대유물로치부했다.카프맹원으로서좌파문인에분류되던권구현이시조창작에열의를보인것은특이한일이다.≪흑방의선물≫에실린시조50수를‘단곡’이라부르는데서그의시조창작이유랑극단단원으로활동하며단가를불렀던시인의이력과무관하지않음을짐작할수있다.권구현은협의의시조전통을계승해재래의화조풍월만읊던양식에서벗어나민중의비참하고고달픈삶을날것그대로시조형식에담아낸다.

권구현의시는오늘날우리에게권력이어디에서오는것이며,어떻게쓰여야하는가를묻는다.
