I believe this:
We are freed from the tyranny
of our own thoughts
only within the orbit of Truth.
The Word of God is not persuasion;
it is proclamation.
It is not a suggestion; it is a command.
It is not optional-not something to be done or left undone.
The Gospel is Kerygma (κηρύσσω):
the proclamation of the King’s decree
delivered by His appointed herald.
As a pastor, I proclaim to all the people.
I deliver the Word of God in its raw form,
the truth flowing along
the grain of Scripture,
without deviating from the whole counsel of
the Old and New Testaments.
