This book is the English version of Human Resource Management for Leaders, published in 2017(3rd edition, 2022). Although many overseas business management textbooks have been translated into Korean in Korea, it is very rare for Korean textbooks to be translated into English. The authors met for the first time as colleagues at the Korea Labor Institute in 1996, and have been doing research together for a long time and consulting with companies. We agreed that human resource management textbooks for leaders were needed in Korea. And years of collaborative work led to the publication of Human Resource Management for Leaders as a textbook. Going one step further, we felt the need for human resource management for global leaders. Korean companies have recently emerged prominently in the global market, and from an economic point of view, Korea has already become an advanced country. In addition, Hallyu, such as K-pop and K-drama, has established itself as a global phenomenon. Against this background, the number of people from all over the world who want to know Korea is increasing, and in particular, the demand for learning about Korea's greatest strength, human resource management, is increasing. This book was promoted to meet this global demand.
